when the p800 is on can you just take out the memory stick and put in another one or do you have to turn it off to do this

stupid question i know but i used to have an n-gage so i blame nokia

yes, you can hot swap memory stick though some people suggest closing the apps you have open from te memory stick you are removing though I have never done that and never experienced a problem on P800, P900 or P910

thats the whole idea of having the memory stick easily accessible without the need to open the battery cover or nething. If you had to turn the phone off to change the memory stick then they mite as well have put the memory stick slot under the battery or something rite?

I have all appications installed in the MemoryStick, and some tasks are running background (hidden tasks). I can not take my MemoryStick without crashing a few tasks everytime, but I guess that's expected.
