Hi just got my s700i but when I am recording videos and playing them back, there is no sound, is this an error or does the video function not record sound?

umm, I'm not sure if it's any settings that I need to change with the mic or the speaker but any recommendations?

Just checked the settings on mine and there is nothing in the camera settings to make this adjustment, so it must be 'on all the time' and I suppose the mic is the little hole below the cameral lens.
Not sure how to help, in answer to the question 'how does yours record the sound' mine just does...
