First of all, sorry if i didn't use a search button, i know it's a common question in this forum, but i just wanna point out some notes that i do take into consideration for choosing either one.

Skip this paragraph if u don't care the little story of mine~ I got my T68 maybe 3 yrs ago (maybe more i forgot), was an occasion poster in this forum. So after few years, i decided to buy another phone, what i really consider is that, it has to be a big upgrade from my T68, so i choose either P910i or S700i. Else i'd rather stick back to my old T68 heh~

Here is what i know about the 2 phones: (correct me if im wrong too)

I consider the list below:
Mpeg4 video playback (highly consider)
Camera
MP3+MP3 ringtone
long battery lasting

Advantage of P910i compare to my considerations:
-Palm + phone in one
-MPEG4 video playback-MP3 + MP3 ringtone
-Very endurance battery
-Camera (but only 0.3 mega pix...)

Advantage of S700i compare to my considerations:
-MPEG4 video playback
-1.3 mega pix camera
-Endurance battery
-MP3, but i don't know if it has mp3 ringtone (saids 40 voice)
-Radio (mid consider)

I looked at the spec, what's EDGE means?

Anyways, The advantage i see over P910i from S700i is the mega pix of camera and radio ($1k HKD difference too). On the other hand, P910i wins with Palm funcions, longer battery, mp3 ringtone, but no radio (damn!)

So to conclude my question, to those who are using P910i, do you think it will be a better phone compare to S700i? camera resolution is not the main consideration for me (got digi cam for real photo anyways), but the radio part does disppointed me, consider such an expensive smartphone that doesn't have built in radio reciever...

Kinda wanna hear some opinion, best if someone tried out both and tell me which is better heh, thx

Dude is it that u have to look at these two different phones only for their multimedia capabalities i mean these are two different catagories P910i is a smartphone much much more than just a Radio, mp3 player or a cam, where as s700 is just a MP camera with good screen and mp3 playback and a radio. so my friend first decide what u want from ur phone my advice go for P910i

i suggest taking the p910 for an overall good phone, and only consider the s700 if camera is very important to u. This message was posted from a P910

I had a p800 but no longer use the PDA functions of it so i've gone for the s700. if there was a PXXXX with the same camera as the S700 and a radio i would have probs gone for that. but the s700 works for what i need it to do.

but i do like the p910, i just dont need its functions at the mo.

The other thing to consider is size. The S700i is quite a bit smaller than the P910i.

Seeing as you'e in canada, you might wanna find out first if the S710 is to be released there. If it is... it's a better choice than the S700i would ever be imho.

If you don't need pda functions and the swivel design doesn't turn you off... go for S710.... otherwise go for P910

S710 is higher model of S700i?? seriously, i don't really need the palm function, that's what makes me struggle now, so either, good phone overall, or phone with better cam/radio
