Is it really THAT slow. This was about 2 minutes for 500kb?
Also it isn't charging the phone when it's plugged in what has gone wrong?

yes, its really that slow. it sbecause its really a serial connection although its going through a USB port. There are alot of threads about this and hopefully one day
will support true USB performance
the DSS-20 and DSS-25 don't charge the phone from the USB port, you have to plug your phone charger into the DSS-20 or DSS-25 to make that happen. turn the sync station upside down and you will see where to plug your normal phone charger

Most people have problems with slow dss desk stands i've noticed and not sure the dss-20 charges the phone, i know the dss-25 does but you need to have a charger plugged in to it which is found under the bottom, (maybe the dss-20 has socket for plugging in a charger too?).
