I whant to purchase the P910i
I don't know wether to get on contract ie with ORANGE ro Sim Free.
If I got for contract the cost would be a lot cheaper, than Sim Free.
But Sim Free, there is no software changes and other software installed.
I understand that you can't do a firmware upgrade on Orange P910i
What would you all do?

I would go for the contract! Unfortunately in my country there is not such an option yet..but I just dream of the day I will have that option!

Cost of purchase is lower and hence, it worths the upgrade!

The cost of breaking the contract plus the balance due on the contract will more likely surpass the cost of a sim-free unit. Needless to say, the troubles of not being able to upgrade on your own are going to be bigger then you think. You never know when that critical update is needed until you're SOL.
