When I m writing an SMS with T9 and come across to words unknown to the phone's vocabulary, I go to "spelling" and save the words to be stored to the "My Words" menu.

But, when I use the same words afterwards, still the phone doesnt "know" them, and I must again spell them.

Any ideas? The default language in my phone is greek.

@asteri

Are you typing the words you previously stored exactly the same? Are you perhaps typing the word you stored, but with a capital letter instead of a lower case letter? I'm not sure how it is in Greek, but are you using the posessive tense instead of the nominative e.g. "Blogg's'" instead of "Bloggs"? Are you typing plural when perhaps you have just saved the word in the singular?

'Bloggs' is just an example I was using, a sin 'Joe Bloggs'. I was using it to illustrate the difference between posessive and nominative tense as I wasn't sure how the posessive tense works in Greek. I have just spotted that I had actually not typed the apostrophe in the first 'Bloggs', so I apologise for any confusion.

If you are typing the words exactly as you have typed them then it would seem to be a problem with firmware. I can't think of anything else that could be causing this issue. Have you upgraded to the latest firmware?

You mean the R2L update? I am still hesitating because I dont fully understand these things, and if something goes wrong, I wouldnt know how to fix it. Also, could the update be compatible only with english "speaking" phones?

I would imagine that the update is compatible with non-English mobiles too, but you might want to make sure of this.
