Hi all, just joined. You all seem a very informative bunch.
Quick question. I have just bought a K700i and I am wondering if you need any software for my PC to transfer pictures and ringtones etc. to my phone? Or do I just need a data cable or Bluetooth dongle/adapter?

you will need both (software + cable or dongol), though you will already have the software with the phone if you bought it new (on the se cd), or there is plenty of other free software that can be downloaded.
Bluetooth dongol will also have its own software with it, that can be used to send files.

^^^ agreed. Also don't get the dss-20/25 for transfering files as it will take hours (i'm not joking), this is only good for doing the online firmware update.
