Can anyone help , recently debranded my K700 using total server and firmware RAA. Getting problem tonight can receive text but cannot send and getting the above error message.
Is this a firmware issue ?

maybe, unless somehow a setting got changed when doing the update, try re-downloading the settings for sms from either the se page or your operators page.

All settings seem correct i did the update last week and all has seemed fine til now !

if you have been able to send since the update, it won't be that has caused the problem. How long have you not been able to send for? Have you tried turning the phone off then back on? What network are you on?

Since abount 9pm this evening. Tried turning phone on and off. Got really desperate and done a master reset and reconfigured everything again.
I'm on Vodafone wifes voda works OK. I can send/receice MMS and receive standard texts ??? Just can't send a text

Maybe the message centre number is wrong or not avaible at all. Check out the sms settings

I have the right service centre number the same as on the wifes fone. Re-entered just in case anyway but still the same .

OK, I've ruled out the phone. Tried Sim in another handset and get the same problem.
I've checked the Text messege settings and the service centre number is +44785016005, I assume this is correct for Vodafone its the same on the wifes fone.
SMS type is Text, Delivery Report = OFF.
Any ideas ?
Guess i'll have to ring vodafone

well, we all no what vodafone are like!
i hope you get it sorted - mistakes can happen. why not go on another network? just a thought...
