i've noticed that lately when i'm in the "normal" profile and i simply silence the phone by pressing the "more/turn on silent keys" not all the sounds turn off. What i can deffinately hear is the sms tone, is there any way i can silence ALL the sounds without changing profile all the time?

I believe u can't hear any tone when u silence ur phone unless u modified ur profile.'mute' means 'mute'.A practical thing to do is trying some variants b4 posting and if it's a problem fix it by changing a desired profile instead of silencing it and bitch about it.

um, gee those were nice words of wisdom??
and NO i don't know what you all mean when you all ask if "i've modified my profile" it's the normal profile... it's meant to be modified! By modifying i've done changes in the rigtone/ringtone level... in other words the whole profile is not silent when in use. So any advice?
and yes i've tried solving the problem before posting, and surprisingly enough other members have posted more idiotic questions than i have.
