Terminator dongle with DIV and T630 - Error

I have everything set up as per instructions and when I try to run the update it says 'Bypass Boot Authorisation' and the next message is 'ERROR: phone not power up'.

Any ideas what is causing this? TIA.

I presume you've checked the error log for known errors already? And that you have your phone switched off and the sim card out? And that you have tried this a couple of times already? And that after each error you have disconnected the phone and removed the battery for a while before trying again? If yes to all the above you may want to try a different phone first. If that works the problem is with your phone, if it doesn't it might be you terminator This message was posted from a Z600

I've done all that apart from the error log and trying another phone/terminator. Where can I find this log as I have searched the net.
TIA.

In my case a list of known errors was included on the cd. Unfortunately I'm not at home so can't look, but it should be there? Oh and what firmware does your T630 have now? If it's the latest and it's original software (= from the shop) you may want to check if it is RSA protected. If it is DIV may not be enough. Check www.cellular-support.com for info how to tackle RSA protected software. This message was posted from a Z600

to tackle it you need DIV 5.0.... PM me your email, and I'll send you the program

I have the version DIV50_Laser_v898_oldschool

I'm assuming this is the latest one? Will I try the RCA thing? What should I do with it? The CD I got is a user burned one with all the latest software on it, It doesn't appear to be an official one.

One thing I tried was running the flash without the phone connected and I got the exact same message so I'm thinking it may be an issue with the cable or dongle. If so I'll try and open then and check the connections unless anyone has seen this error before?

Okay, this seems more weird than ever now. I have finally got the thing working and I have successfully flashed both the arv and arm files and then the gdf file afterwards. Now when I insert the SIM and power the phone back up it appears exactly as it was before it was flashed. I'm using the R4C003 for arm and avr files and T630 Default GDFS.gdf.
Any ideas where I am going wrong? My T630 is T-Mobile branded and I think it was already on FW R4C but cannot remember off the top of my head.
Do I need to do a master reset before the flashing process or similar?? Any help would be appreciated now I finally have the terminator working. TIA.
