I recently found a k700i and couldnt believe my luck!

It is an o2 phone but it had a T-mobile sim in it. anyway the phone accepted my sim card which is o2 but when i check the phone status it does not have my number on it? also is there anything else i should know about this phone?

@ashley, welcome mate! Try to go to phonebook menu, look for "my mobile" add your cellphone # in it. after that you should be able to see your mobile when you check phone status by pressing volume bar.

hiya
yeah my phone says the same - it has my old phone number on it. im not worried thou way i see it if someone steals my phone they will get the wrong number for the sim! lol!

Well i tried to change it in the phonebook but call me dumb i cant find what your talking about! i know it sounds silly but as you probably guessed the phone didnt come with an instruction manual!

Above wouldn't help you much... Go to Contacts -> Options -> Special numbers -> My numbers -> My mobile -> enter your mobile # here.

Now when you go to Phone ststud you will see your number
