I currently have a P800 with Orange, my contract is now up so I wanted to find out how much it would cost to upgrade my phone to a P910i. First of all was told it would cost £250, told them this was far to expensive, I was then put through to 'Retentions'. They told me they could do it for £110.
( I asked it would be any cheaper if I upgraded my price plan, but was told no. I'm currently on £25/month for 120 xnet mins and 60 txts).

So what I'm wondering is, is the difference between a P800 and P910i worth £110 ?

Thanks for your thoughts.

at your price point, you're not going to get it any cheaper.

a mate of mine got a P910 for free this week, but he spends £140/month with them he was expecting to pay up to £100, so if you've been offered that i'd take it

[edit] he had my old P800 for a few weeks and didn't really like it, but he loves the P910... Duo Pro support alone would clinch it for me, to be honest.

if i was ofered a P910i for £110 i would bite their hand off! o2 online wont even let me have one for any price think i am going to have to settle for for a P900 and that will probably cost me more than the £110 you are going to pay for the P910i!!!

I reckon you have a good deal. Did you have to upgrade you price plan? If so then what to? £110 is a small price to pay for such a phone and you can sell your old one if you want:-D. This message was posted from a T610

i, myself have a p900 and don't really see the benefits matching the cost of upgrading. p900 does me fine. if i want an mp3 player i'll buy a dedicated one etc, also the p900 screen is fantastic as it is(will 252k colours make much of a difference?) and the key pad inside the flip, i mean surely you must have to hold it steady as you type?

mind you, if upgrading from p800... i say go for it. i'm spoiled already lol

I'm with Mark here - if you can find a deal involving a P900, I'd go for it as it would be more of a bargain and a minimal loss of features imo.

I'm starting to regret getting rid of my P800, so might get a P9 once the prices have been forced down by everyone 'upgrading' to a P910!

Compared to the now ancient P800, and the later P900, the P910 has MUCH higher internal memory capacity, the highest resolution screen (over 600k colours), a qwerty keyboard.. And ur asking if paying a measly £110 for it is worth it?! It makes one wonder whether u 'speak' the truth or just bored! P.s. Anyone interested in swapping their P900 for a K700i, PM me please. @tariqwahl

Why on earth would you think he's making it up?

And, it does not have 600k colours, it has 262k.

Perhaps it is you who is bored and making things up??
