I hate the Power Key in my P910!!
I don't know if it's the way I hold the phone or something, but I keep turning off the phone while using it!
I'm tired of it! Last time it was in the middle of a cal!!
...
I can use an application like KeyMapper to map the power key to something else, *BUT* how do I TURN OFF the phone by software!??
Help ...

I also already turned off the phone twice when retrieving it from my jeans pocket.
I only need a turn off/reboot software application. I can't believe it does not exist!

my phone automatically locks it self after a minute to pervent such problems and i have key mapper installed so holding power button only ever brings up ogg play.

turn flight mode prompting ON in the control panel and then the phone won't turn off when you press the power button because it will give you a choice to switch to flight mode or turn off which you can just cancel when you notice it
