there is only a limited memory for sms`s on the s700. unfortunately there is no way of extending the sms memory.

Why is it soooo hard to make it possible to store more contacts and sms in the new big gun of se?

@boba
I don't think it is a question of difficulty, rather it seems to be a limit SE themselves set.

Admittedly I would prefer more SMS storage too, but it isn't too bad as long as one periodicaly deletes old messages.

@nlhall
I have neve rquite understood why people want to save lots and lots of texts. Having said that I do think it would be nice to have a little more room for texts, especially as people are texting more than ever. The questions is though, how much is enough?

1000 texts would do it.
I'm quite shocked about this, for some reason I thought

would do it to this phone.
Having a K700i I know what you mean.
It's not to do with keeping messages (although I do), it's to do with having to delete some to let others through.
So annoying needing to delete texts every other day.
