hey guys...i had the scare of my life tonight...i was driving home from footie training listening to my faviourite keane tracks thru unreal player (ogg files rule!!!), when my fone fell off my seat as i went round a corner too fast...well, i say too fast but it was really only to fast for the fone as i took the corner easily...anyways, i had to stop to pick it up out of the footwell only to find the back had come off and the battery had fallen out, this i attribute to the fact that i was carrying my o2 simcard underneath the back cover which i hadn't shut completely...so i put it all back together, turned her on, which was fine until the backlight went out after about 5 seconds and despite pressing the keys and rolling the jogdial i was unable to get it back on, rendering the fone useless in the dark!!!...panicking slightly i decided to put the fone to one side till i got home leaving it turned off in the meantime!!! at this point its worth noting that the battery was virtually dead anyway so my first line of action upon returning home was to put the fone straight on charge...leaving it for ten minutes i returned to turn the fone on and await what i hoped wud be my lovely p910i once more working normally...alas it wasn't!!! f**k me, i thought, it's bust which'll mean 4 weeks residency at the local SE workshop whereever that may be at best!!!...that was, until glancing thru the menus, the fone directly under a desk lamp so i could see anything at all, to my astonishment i found the backlight power option had been turned to "off" from its normal "on" selection...clicking it on the fone burst back to life with all the ambience of a well lit footie pitch ready for an evening kick off...in other words, the light came back on!!!...with shear relief i thought i must tell u guys this bizarre story as it truely has been, for me anyway, a one off and equally truelly...well, fcuking bizarre!!!...
comment if u will...

Yeah ive had similar experiences but only happens ive noticed when unreal player un expectantly closes. There is nothing wrong with ya fone but perhaps some thing to do with what unreal player does to the settings and when it stuffs up the settings aint put back to what they were.

Hehe... good story. Funny how you all (not me.. honest) get soooo attached to your SE's that the minute one might be ill, everyone jumps into "mummy" mode. Its like hearing your kids fallen over and scraped his knee.

One question............
....why not just use the car stereo instead of your phone for music? or am I missing something here?
