There is an option to set it to unlimited in the video settings so it just depends on the free storage you have left.

The problem is that after you select the unlimited recording option, however, the 7th option called "Auto camera off" the only settings are 30sec, 2, or 3 min. no option to cancel this setting. Thus camera will turn off after 3 min Automatically.
Another BAD ting with this phone..

It isn't a camcorder, there are few mobiles available in Europe (and probably even fewer in the U.S.) that can be considered anywhere near the level of a poor camcorder. Camera phones are only just begining to offer a serious challenge to digital cameras, let alone camcorders. I don't think we should be too criticial in this respect.
Does the camera automatically switch off if it isn't doing something e.g. recording video, or is it just if the camera is idle?

Actually to me its a serious matter.. coz it says unlimited.. but it doesnt.. meaning.. it does not meet its functionality.. and a total disappointed to everyone who owns S700.. tat is who really like video recording.... hopefully V800 does hv this problem..
anyways... the reason being only 3mins is due to its camera auto-off function right.... so correct me if im wrong.. as it baut to reach 3mins, cant u guyz just press a button maybe zoom a little, so tat it wont auto-off.. coz auto-off means.. camera is on.. and no button is pressed.. so its turned off... so by pressin a button it will atleast delay the auto-off function... to another 3mins... hv anyone tried it, and tell me if it works....

It isn't a disappointment to me.

the "auto camera off" is only in effect if the camera is in standby mode, ie not in use...

@scots
i'm testing it as we speak, i only have a 32 mb card and i got up to 4:34 so far, still going, so yeah you other guys were being a bit too dramatic about this issue, the recording is only limited by the size of the memory card...
