A search didn't result in anything, so I'm going to throw in a new topic.

Strongly considering buying the z1010. One thing I'm very interested in though, is knowing if the dual camera has limitations as to that only one lense is usable for video (the one pointing inwards), or if both picture taking and video recording can be done from both lenses.

Also, how is the transition between internal and external memory? The 4mb internal memory is not exactly overwhelming... With a mem stick shoved in it, will it automatically store things downloaded, in the stick?

Thanks

you can use both cameras for video conferencing but you cannot use the internal camera for pictures. about the memory i use a 128mb card and whenever i take a photo the photos gets stored in the card and whenever i send songs it automaticly saves to the card.

Thanks. I'm not that self-centered, that I need to take photos of myself too often, lol.

So the external card is primary storage - with the internal being secondary? Everything will always be stored in the card initially?

An while I'm raining questions... My last SE phone was the T610 and I hate how images were stored raw. Has SE finally been able to handle compressed images?

The Z1010 saves pics as Jpeg. It' a great phone - I'm really happy with it. No buggs with the R1H update.

Greetings, Alex

One thing is saving the picture as jpeg, another is actually using that compression (again, I'm referring to my old T610). What is the size of the best resolution picture taken with the camera on the phone?

I'll have to look at home on my Mac, where I've saved the pics. What I know is that they have really good quality in 640x480 and that they've pretty little size.

Here's the answer: they are real Jpeg with a size between 32 an 44 KB.
