Hey all,
I see loads of K700i themes everywhere.
Now I got a F500 flashed to a K500i but its resolution is lower than the K700i.
Is there any way to convert themes those K700i themes to K500i?
I know that K700i themes does work on my K500i but the problem is that the bars and images doesn't suit right.

all k700i themes works fine on my k500i. you cant expect k7 screen quality on a k5.

Well please take a second look..
If you see the the wallpaper background for exam. you can see it doesn't fit the screen with the standybar.
Also the menu selections (those bars) are not complete..

Well which theme? All seem to fit mine perfectly. Give me your theme and i will check. I can guarantee all themes on esato work properly. This message was posted from a K500

See the bottom line, it doesn't fit correctly with the original.


Here you can see that the same buttom bar doesn't fit and also the selection doesn't fit right


Also here the same problem as above


Here is the proof, yes it doesn't is that worse but some themes created by users are even more worse.
And if I resize the pictures on my pc, it will look better!

Only way to make it fit perfectly is to make a new theme from the original image I'm afraid, as no matter what you do when resizing the images.... they most likely won't fit.

Do they fit perfectly on the K700 btw?

Yes they should work ok on a K700
We also got a K700i here in house and I sent a default theme of that phone to my K500i.
And when I compare it I get the problem with those bars and the K700i doesn't..

But isn't there a easy to use program (or maybe an easy way with Photoshop) to rip the images from a theme and resize them easely to fit the K500i?

you can extract all images from the theme and resize them with photoshop, but the problem is that there is no guarantee they will all suddenly fit perfectly especially in standby mode.

The highlights and the tabs can be made to fit but with the standby image there is always the risk that the lines are going to be a pixel off.

ok, I see how it works now.
I can easely extract the theme with WinRAR.
I'll try to convert one of those K700i themes and post here the results

I've extracted all images from the Subaru theme and converted the images to K500's size.
Now the theme looks very nice and much smoother lines.

If you got a K500i/F500i phone, the please download first the K700i version from this website (available in Theme section) and afterwards try mine version, you'll seriously notice much more diffrence, even in the Wallpaper itself
