> s700i - How do I batch delete?
Bookmark topic
This is really bugging me! I've had a search through some posts on here but didn't find a solution.
Last night I took about 150 photo's on my phone and today i've copied them onto my computer by browsing the phone using Mac OS X's Bluetooth File Exchange program. This copied all the photo's with just a few clicks (select all and drag onto my desktop) SIMPLE. Now, with my old T630 I could use the same program to delete all the photo's off the phone - select all then click on the trash icon. This doesn't work with my s700i - I get operation failed error. Almost like I don't have permission to do this.
So I thought.. hmmm.. There SURELY must be a way to batch delete files by using the phone itself. Nope. There is no option to 'delete all', no option to 'mark all' and then delete. No option to move the photo's to another folder, then delete that folder.
I'm really stuck here, i'm not going to manually mark 150 photo's one by one.. That would take ages!
Any suggestions?
(edit - made topic title betterer)

This is also another problem with the S700.. For some reason sony developed this phone and just forgot to put the good quality in their old phones with the S700.... very very disappointing...

No one?
I ended up browsing the photo's using the phone, in the memory status screen. Each photo could be deleted with 2 presses of the select butten. It took a little while and i'd rather not have to do this every time.
I suppose I could get a card reader, but i'd already been planning on getting a 128mb duo stick and the cost of both (around £60-£70) is rather alot to splash out.
