> K700 got wet, can you help?
Bookmark topic
My k700 has gotten wet (beer :| ) and now the 6 key appears to be stuck 'on' while not actually pressed. Im going to leave it for a few days see if it drys out any.
However right now i am trying to use foats mobile agent to swap my contact list and sms messages over to my old t610. Having a bit of trouble doing this, ive exported the contacts from the k700 into about 70 vcf files i think. How do i get these onto the t610 using FMA?

Isn't there a gadget available to repair a mobile that has gotten wet? I'm sure there is some sort of mobile 'bath' available.

A good tip would be to keep your phone in your pocket when drinkin. Better still, leave it at home. Take the phone apart and clean the keypad and pegs with a damp cloth and let them dry. Also give the inside edges of the front cover a wipe

have you got insurance on the phone? In which case don't worry about it.
If not do what Staz081277 said and take it to bits to dry it, do not leave it to dry itself as this will cause damage to the inside of the phone.
Or get to a SE service centre ASAP and let them have a look at it.

For transferring of datas, yes the Bluetooth will do, so with the IR! For drying the wet fone, a blow dryer might just help a bit . . . by applying a 'not-so-hot' air gently and gradually over the soaked area . . .
