Hi! I've been able to configure my S700 to receive my RoadRunner emails (Time Warner's cable modem service). I now have found the right outgoing server now and i CAN send emails now from the Messages/Email menu on the phone. Yeah!
BUT, I now have discovered that the S700 has NO options to add an attachment to emails!! no where is there such an option! anyone here knows more? someone must! this is the only workaround to be able to send out a picture file that is the full size picture that the S700 is capable of taking (it compresses the 1.3Mpixels to around 258KB.
hope someone knows.
This is important because you can't send any Picture Messages greater than 100K or so (no one has a definitive answer on that either, but I know you can't send a full 1.3Mpixel S700 pic that is compressed to 258K via Picture Messaging).
What's the use of a 1.3Mpixel camera that compresses the pics to 258K if the MMS/Picture Messaging won't allow greater than 100K?
That's why it is important to find out how to configure the outgoing mail servers because then, you can ATTACH a picture of a bigger size to an email, sort of a "workaround" to the Picture Message/MMS size limit.
Anyone knows how to do this? Many thanks.

@eieio
Go into the folder where you keep the picture you wish to e-mail and select the option to send it via e-mail from there. An e-mail will be created and the picture added as an attachment.

Or you can compose an e-mail the normal way, and when you come to the send menu, you just click the upper right command button and add the attachment.

Or he could do that.

Thanks guys! the "starting from the file/photo" method worked!! but, PC_Power's suggestion won't work for me for some reason. when i compose an email the regular way, when i see the send menu on my upper left assignable key, the upper right assignable key says "More", but when I press it, there is nothing that's even close to adding any attachments!!
What do you guys mean then? maybe there's another button other than the upper right assignable button? the other method of starting from the picture, and then selecting More and it will start an email DOES work. BUT now I'm curious why the "regular email" method won't work for me!

Once you have composed your e-mail and entered the address press the top right button that corresponds with the 'More' option. The fourth option down on the menu that appears should be the one for attaching a file to your e-mail.
