it's basicaly just product refresh it comes in black and white has build in hadsets free and looks a bit better then the t230. I;ve seen one and it looks quite nice

290 is black in color and has an inbuilt handsfree. Like the t237. Screen res, 4096colors, internal mem, wap version are the same.

It should go in at around the same price of the T230. It's aimed at the bussiness market and very low end users who don't really want a camera phone
