Does Symbian OS on a phone mean we can surf the whole internet and not just wap sites?

I know it's a kind of basic and dumb question but just wanted to check. Benq P30 has symbian os . Will I be able to surf the whole internet with the same.

symbian OS is just the operating system. It does not browse by itself. If you want to browse the internet you need to go and find out if that phone supports html browsing and which browsers it supports.

Well, yes. Symbian os has a pocket version of opera which lets you serf the web. Symbian is like a pocket windows that lets you install programs that work for it. This message was posted from a Z1010
