> ways to conserve battery for k700i

i read GPRS uses a lot of battery.. so it's better to turn it off.. how exactly do i do that? i read thru the manual and it dint' say anything about it..
what otherr things i can turn off or do to save some battery life?
also.. does it matter if u charge your phone on or off?? will charging in off mode overcharge the battery??

GPRS doesnt activate until you start using the internet browser so its always off.
Dont play games - They drain the battery quickly
Upgrade your firmware to R2L. It improves battery life.

GPRS is always off !!!!!
See those 2 icons on the top left of the menu ? Selecting those activates the browser. Only then GPRS turns on. If GPRS is on then a globe icon will appear on the top next to the battery indicator.

ive heard also that th bluetooth eats up a hell of a lot of battery life, so dont turn it on unless u need to.

I guess the answer to your question is: go to menu- connectivity- data comm.- prefered service- and choose GSM ONLY.
That way gprs will turn on automatically, when needed, and you can get a few extra hours that way.

Turn the phone off. This is a great way to save power.
