> P910i restarts to improve performance?
Bookmark topic
A new one for me.
My P910i decided to restart in the middle of something and came up with a message something like this: Your phone is restarting to improve its performance.
Has anyone else had this happen.

Yes, that happened quite frequently to me as well for the forst few weeks when the phone was new.
It seemed to become less frquent with time and now it's viritually gone.

I just got off the phone with
I mentioned this "problem" and it seems to be due to lack of reboot of the phone.
If the phone is used without being turned off every now and then the SW reboots itself by doing exactly what you mentioned in your opening post.
Before I got my S700 I never turned off my P910 so it makes sence to me what

said.
So, the clue is; turn your phone off every now and then to reboot properly.

Hummm!
Mine did this while using a GPS navigation prog in the car.
Had to stop and enter code to startup, and then open the GPS prog again.
A warning may have been nice, before it did this.
(I had rebooted the day before)

I thought it was only me, although mine does'nt rebopot as such, it just turns itself off when it likes, ie - middle of call, texting or even when sitting on desk not using it. I dont even hear the shutdown tune, it just crashes. I turn it back on & its fine again???
Any ideas

@P800!
I had the same message when using Powerday with Wayfinder. I have now removed Powerday and I no longer have this problem.

I have been lucky enough to own all three P phones, and none of them has ever reported this on the screen, I am very curious as to why some people get it and some don't, very intrigueing
