I phoned Orange (UK) up the other week as two of the rubber pads on my battery cover had come off thus making it very loose.

They promptly sent me a free replacement battery cover!

I'm not sure if other networks do this but thought it was quite good of Orange to provide them for free!!

Yeah i had the same problem with O2 but they sent me a whole new phone But it had a older version of firmware so i just swapped the covers over and it works great now. No more text related squeezyness.

I wish more companies were like that. It didn't cost them much but I imagine it's worth a fortune in good will generated. I had a similar type of experience with Victorinox Swiss Army knives years ago. I wrote to them as I needed a new handle for my knife as I'd broken it through carelessness. I asked if they could do me a replacement and to quote me the cost. By return post they sent me three sets of handles (red, black and white, as I hadn't stated my requirements) with their compliments. :-D This message was posted from a T68i
