Hi, I tried searching but found not much information so I want to ask you guys whether your phone is slower after the MMS upgrade. After the upgrade, everytime I call somebody, it take at least 2 seconds before the phone actually calls (switch from the display number to the blue connecting screen). It will take even longer if I type in the numbers, press option, choose hide my number and yes. it takes at least 4 seconds before it actually dials. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Also I really hates how after I end the call, the last call timer keep displaying even if I press no and c. Sometime people tell me someones number, I try to remember and call right after I press no, but then it keep displaying the time and whatever I number I press, it doesn't display. Its so annoying...

hi!

i recon you should try to get it upgraded again. my phone "speed" increased by 2-3 times after the upgrade, and now it's actually faster than the standard t68i that a friend of mine have.

later.

Sometimes when you use a theme quite big in size ..... the phone becomes too slow..... Try using themes under 20kb

My T68 is now faster than before the upgrade by a long way!

But I have noticed that the more full the phone gets the slower it gets! This is like with some palmtops, as you fill the RAm with stuff, they get slower, probably the same applies to the T68! But I could be wrong

What hardware version have you got? maybe that can make a difference? or is that mainly to do with build quality? My R4A model is much better made than my old R1B model!

I think I have the slowdown problem after R2E upgrade too.

Maybe it has to do with the theme that I'm using, but heck, I've only got it few hours ago.

If you have copied your phonenumbers to the Sim-card before the upgrade, this may slow your phone down. Copy the phonenumbers to the phone AND delete them from the Sim.

Good point!

I wonder if we can disable the phone form reading from the SIM? T68m doesn't read from the SIM unless you tell it to.

And I wonder if the amount of phone # saved in the SIM will affect the slow-ness at all? I think I got about 35 entries in the SIM.
