> Big Threat to S700? (T610 lookalike smartphone)

Nokia just announced the 3230. It is a 110gram 1.3MP camera Series60 smartphone. Available in Q1 2005 for price Euro350.
For the price and features, is this phone a serious threat or just another pathetic Nokia effort? Feel free to fire ur comments.

It look plain weird. Big screen is nice ,and unusual for a nokia of this price, but did they have to squash the keypad so much at the bottom. It looks out of proportion.

IMO its definitely a threat. its just a compromise between looks and features but ultimately the features win out. Hopefully S700 prices will drop quicker cuz it looks better than this one.

Looks to be a very good mobile, but I don't think it will be a threat to the S700. The S700 isn't a smartphone and isn't marketed as such, they will appeal to different sections of the market.
