Bookmark topic
my phone battery went dead so just put it on to charge and tried to send a message but it failed because it was searching for a network. so i switched it off and then on again and it said inactive sim, so i tried again and now its saying o2 uk and it has a phone icon with a red cross over it by the signal strength
do you think o2 is down or that my k700i may have been blocked

@SCORPIONKING1982
I often get the message 'Emergency Calls Only' displayed on my K700, is this in any way related to thecopperfield's problem?

@thecopperfield
Have you phoned the network yet? If not I suggest you ring them and find out what exactly is going on.

@scotsboyuk
I get that too, basically its when the o2 signal is lost for whatever reason. you can make ememrgency calls using any network if yours has no signal, sorry if you already knew that.
Again I can check your local area for cell problems, are u in the middle of nowhere or a town/city?
