Does anyone know of a way to access gmail (Google email) over wap? Gmail is still in beta testing (invite only to sign up) but is it possible yet? Or does anyone know if it will be possible in the future?

Cheers,
Carman

http://www.theplaceforitall.com/gmail-lite/

This is the site which Gan Ying Hung (creator of libgmailer, GMail-Lite and gmail-mobile) has told me to use until I can setup GMail-lite to my own server. I'm having a hard time making the php files work on my own hosting and he's "trying" to help me (We still coudn't find why it doesn't work...). I use this page to check my GMail from my K700i and it works pretty well...

If you have your own website and if your server has php support, you can download the files from gmail-lite.soruceforge.net... (Lycos ones don't work, since they don't have CURL support...)

I know its not exactly what youre after & a bit crude - but you can forward your Gmail to any other account
It's what I am doing and seems to work quick and reliable - sometimes the mails are in my o2 mailbox before
notifier has a chance to tell me they are on my PC !

according to articles in several tech websites, GMail will be implementing pop3 access in the coming weeks - so that should solve this problem!
