> New 910, sore ears! - newbie question
Bookmark topic
Hi there, I am new to the P series phones, and are so far getting on well with the phone. I find it extremely uncomfortable when using for extended periods of time, although it is more confortable with the flip open. Are you guys out there using a soft case that is covering the earpiece? It is for me the only thing that is spoiling what is a good phone otherwise.
I am lothed to loose the flip, as I use the keyboard a fair bit for SSH connections.

I dont realy find this too bad, I just turn up the volume and don't press too hard, you can probably find a case on expansys.co.uk or have a look on ebay.
hope that helps,
Gerry.

You need a

headset, mate -

HBH-660 or Motorola HS-850 probably the best bets IMHO.
It's heavy to hold to your ear

@jonpaterson
Another thing you could do is, after a time turn to speakerphone. I myself never had any problems with the p900 (don't know if the p910 is different in that category?).
But what I did do a few times in the beginning is press the 'Ok' button with my ear or the side of my head and accidentaly ended the conversation. After doing that 2 times I kinda thought myself not to do that anymore hehe.

I dont like speakerphones, better to find a bluetooth headset thats comfortable for you imo.

I love it.. even though I use it rarely. But ever since I saw a speakerphone in action around 1 1/2 years ago on a friends phone (he was writing a number down while it was being told to him), I always wanted one for the 'cool' factor

. Now anytime I speak to someone and need more people to hear I use it (obviosly). I'm just saying thats another alternative for jon above.
He could of course use bluetooth headset or even the handsfree that came with the phone.

Thanks Guys for this, I am using a jabra 250 now and it is very comfortable - I make a lot of calls on the phone as I use it for work, so this has turned out to be a lot easier.
