> Memory card in k700
Bookmark topic
I just have to cry out my frustration somewhere so it may as well be here. I had my k700 for about two weeks now, and its a brilliant phone in most parts but...WHY, oh why does it not have a memorycard slot. I downloaded a simpsons episode today and it filled 20 of my precious 38 Meg. And then I whant som mp3's (actually mp4 for lesser size) and some 10-15 good games. And I want to take more cam pictures, and download more themes and so on, and so on...
The memory is to small, and there is no way to expand it (other than deleating some preinstalled sh*t). So I'm gonna cry myself to sleep tonight wondering if SE is planning a follow up modell with memorycard in a nerby future?

@moriax - I guess you've already been well informed 'bout the K700i's - 41 MB memory capacity mate before buying that fone . . .So, I guess you'll just have to delete 'unwanted' files in your fone to satisfy your needs . . . Glad to have you here at Esato too!

More than ample internal memory for a cam phone imo.i have 63 games,40 to 50 mixed format tones,30ish pics,30 to 40 vids,and still have 5 meg left.pretty reasonable for a camera phone,imo.

Yup! I've been a heavy image/vids downloader then, but the 41 MB on my K7 then sufficed me enough!

yeah, yeah, offcourse I knew about the memory capacity when I bought the phone. But back then (two weeks ago) I was a n00b on modern phones. Take in to count that I whent from a nokia 3510 to a SE k700. I was blown away by the things I could do with this new phone and when I explored the playback of videos function I just wanted more. Actually I would like to have 3-5 full size movies on there if I could. Since a full movie is around 60-80 meg, it would mean that my memory would have to be a minimum of 512, and this would be possible if the phone had a memorycard slot. (Not the 128 Meg limited cards).
And don't question the use of movies on the pfone cos I know you're about to, right?

I just think it's so cool, so I want it, simple as that!

just a thought. if u put p910 fw on a p900 it supports memory stick pro.rite?
how about this, we all know that there is a hollow metal plate under the k700i. many ppl over here say that it was where the memory stick slot was gonna be
now it us asssume that that was true....
open the phone, shove in the memeory stick there and flash it with s700i fw like in the case of the p910/p900?
will it work???
