Got tracker today.... great app;)

Found Win XP skins, but want the linux system. I have searched a bit but didnīt find any Linux (Redhat or Mandrake) skins....

Does anyone know about where I can get??

Any good Tracker skin sites for me to search on??

Thanks;)

While we're on the subject of Tracker skins, I have a quick question:

So far I have only used the default skin for tracker. I've added all my own shortcuts and arranged them as I like them.

Now if I decide to try a different skin, say a Win XP one, but then go back to the default skin, will I lose all my shortcuts and have to set them all up again, or are they now stored as a part of the skin itself, so that they'll be intact when I switch back?

Cheers

as long as you can import shortcuts (tracker 4) they must be stored in any way..

save them & go for it..

Yes, it is Tracker 4. I can see the import shortcuts option in the menu, but does this mean I have to export the shortcuts to a file first? How do I do this?

Or is it sufficient to just select 'Save Changes Now' before switching the skin?

Cheers

If you just press save changes now, you will be ok. Tracker creates an ini file for each skin, in which it stores all shortcuts created by the user. When you try a new skin, you can import the shortcuts placed on another (in your case from the default skin) and hence, you don't need to create them again. To sum up, you never loose the shortcuts you place on a skin, as long as you press save changes now.

petrosk73: Brill, thanks for that. I will probably try some new skins out over the weekend.

binoblaine05: I have downloaded a few different XP skins, but not this one. Where can it be downloaded from, and what advantages would you say it has over some of the others?
