i seem to have deleted a file too much on my memory stick, now the "uninstall" function from the applications task crashes (error r21) each time the memory stick is present. I may have deleted an app i never used directly, without deleting the .sis file in the system/install folder.

Or is it something else causing this? Anyone had similar situations, and know a way to fix this?

does it crash only when u try to uninstall this particular program or does it happen for all programs. if it crashes for just that program then delete that .sis file in the install folder and it should be fine.

No, it is the whole uninstaller application that crashes after a second or so. The list of programs never appear, just the error message.

Just a wild guess, but check if there is an *.app or *.ini file that was left in the drive. Ex: DateMate.app

What I would do is format the stick and then re install the software you need.

Q:
Since the first day I always installed all applications in the Memory Stick.
The disavantage is that I can not remove the Memory Stick without crashing a couple applications each time.

Using SMan can I transfer those critical applications to the C drive and the applications still work!?

I've included a grab of the apps and install folders, but i am afraid i can't spot the application with the missing .app and .ini files. Anyone else good at this game of spotting the difference?
