> No ring-signal in headset (k700)

When I listen to the radio and it rings, I got no signal in the headset just on the phone. Isn't that really stupid? Does it work for anyone? (R2M)

If you turn silent mode on, then you will hear the ringsignal in the headset. The phones speaker wont ring though.

As cyber said, u wont be able to hear any ring signal in the headset..instead the radio or mp3 playback will mute untill u pickup the call. And if the phone is in the silent mode u will hear the ring signal in the headset

that is a negative point of my k700.
las tuesday I was watching barcelona-milan at the nou camp and using the k700 as radio. i received a call and i noticed it by the vibration, not any ring signal.
a solution could be to set up the portable handsfree profile to silence, but i donīt like it too much.

It's really easy... if you put silence mode on when using the headset you will hear the ringsignal loud and clear in your headset. When taking them off (but still having them attached to the phone), turn silent mode off again. This is done by either holding the "C" or "#" button for two seconds.
If you forget to turn silent mode on when using the headset, I don't see how you can miss a call anyway since the headset mutes when there is an incoming call... that should at least make you look at the phone and see that it's ringing.

Yeah, you really should always check whats happening with your phone when radio or media player stop working....when that happens to me, first thing I see (in my head) is VERY HAPPY boy running away with my K700 which he stoled from my pocket few moments ago, leaving me only with headphones in my ears!
