Sony Ericsson seem to have overpriced certain phones which they expect not to sell loads of. For example the K700 is very conveniently priced and is one hell of a seller. But the S700 is overpriced and is not a very good seller, and even if it was reduced to a lower price it is a great phone but still would not sell as much as competing phones of same specs at a fraction of the cost. So it would seem SE is overpricing phones to increase their profit margin on not very high selling phones to increase their overall profit. But due to the unaware public, Nokia dont have to use this strategy because the idiots around the world would buy it anyway. So they can price normally cause theyre going to sell loads of phones anyway.

so based on the logic of your argument, those who bought S700 are the bigger idiots.

The s700 will soon be cheap.Look at the k7,..When i bought it,it cost 300 sim free,It's now 190 sim free in my city. The same goes for the 6600,7610,and the string carries on,and on.The s700 will be an old phone just like the k7 sort of is.Like i say..My days of buying new technology are now over. People who bought S700 now are not idiots, but die hard fans who are prepared to buy the overpriced phone. The phone like all SE phones will decrease in price, because SE try to squeeze out all the expensive sales, and then they reduce their prices. That allows them to makle more money than placing it at a lower price immeidietly
