> unlock key lock in flip closed mode?
Bookmark topic
hi
i need some help, please. is there any way to unlock the key lock in flip closed mode without pressing the OK and the * button on the p800? it would be very useful to me, becouse i have removed the flip and it's impossible to unlock it with one hand (e.g. while driving). i need some prog with an own screen lock, but all i have tried just work in flip open mode. any advices?
thanks averess

Can you clarify, you say you need unlock with flip close but later on you say flip removed. It should be like Massuer say. Jog back or forth not up and down than push in.

i use the virtual flip. you know the small button on the taskbar. it's just like with flip. but without the stylus i simply can't unlock it. the method what masseur said dosn't work on my p800

Like Masseur I had a p800 quite some time ago, but I am sure you could unlock it with jog up or down followed by in when you get the diagram. Perhaps it is just a figment of our memory though...

i haven't got the latest fw on my phone. could this be the reason why i can't unlock it? rochej: what diagram are you talking about?

Press the jog backwards or forwards, then you get diagram on screen as attached telling you to press the jog-dial in. Sorry about the quality I took a picture of it on my 900 from my 910. Don't forget none of us that posted could remember if it was like that on the 800 - I'm still sure it was though!

thanks rochej, but the pic you have attached is something completely new to me. if i press a button the following text shows up: "press OK and then * to unlock"
it would be also great to find a 3rd party screen/key lock software, which works in flip closed mode.
thanks anyway
