found this on mobile burn comparison on some 1mp cams available on the market at present. aint read it all yet so dont know what the review s like.
but for those who are intreseted in how the s700 camera fairs against the rest enjoy reading it.
again its just one persons opinon so it will be a subjective review, so no crying if the s700 doesnt win or getting to excited if it does

I read a comparison with S700, 7610 & a siemens and the S700 was far better. I think it was on mobile-review and it was much more extensive than the one just on mobile burn.
They took the same pics with each phone and the S700 showed best quality and most accurate colours.

I see the mobileburn verdict also goes to the S700

When you set the S700's white balance control to manual (ie. indoors, sunny, etc), then the colors are really very good. But that is pretty much a pain to do and most everybody will leave it on auto.

But like I said in the story, you can fix color in Photoshop or something. Can't fix a blurry photo after the fact. Maybe future firmware tweaks will improve the white balance outdoors.

Hi Michael

Nice to see you here

Great shootout - lots of good info

I slightly disagree with you on conclusion regarding S65 camera - the out of focus problem is simply so bad and makes the images so blurry - that I could almost be fooled into beleiving it was not a real 1.3mp cam - but some interpolation trick - of cource I know this is not so or there would have been more artefacts - but you know what I mean

Never the less - great shootout - I enjoyed reading it and I for certain only see one clear winner
