I got my K700i for a month now. I upgraded it to the latest firmware level available on the SE website (R2L001). I downloaded several themes, and a lot of Java games from different internet sites, as well as several applications. The free memory currently is 32MB. However, if I try to download any new game, or application, I get a "Memory Full" message. Does the games, and application have a preset memory size allocated from the original 41MB of the K700i that I cannot exceed, or are the games, and applications sharing the same memory space as the rest like themes, images, and music?
Thank you.

Hello,
I just counted the games I downloaded, and the total is 58 games, plus 12 applications.
Do you mean that the K700i has a restriction on the number of games+applications rather than the amount of storage they consume?

yes, restriction is 80 games. I'm not sure if this includes games from the 'applications' folder.

edit - yup i just checked - 80 games or apps total

Thank you very much for this piece of information. Are there any other restrictions that K700i users should know about, like maximum number of photos, mp3, or midi's.

From where can I read more on such restrictions?

Note: I counted again the games, and applications, and the total number did not yet exceed the 80 limit. The total so far is 70.

Can be there any other reason for this "Memory Full" message?

SE phones uses a different memory pool for storing messages. So regardless whether you have 41 MB free or not, once you've reached the quota then you can't store any messages anymore. Pretty stupid I would say

@chinhui - He was talking bout the error message "memory full" and was not refering to the text message memory.

@bf244a- As far as i know, the only other limitations are text messages ( approx 100 or according to size of each txt message) and contacts (510). I dont know why u r getting that error msg with just 70 games.

@bf244a - Glad to have you here at Esato mate ! What on the Earth you havin' those 70 games for? Do each game come in 'sequel' . . . ! I never knew that each folder has some 'memory' restrictions, should be based on it's total space consumed . . . and not per folder?

Hello,
I have two kids, and the k700i with all the loaded games, proved to be a solution for having a quite and safe drive with the one kid fully busy playing with my mobile, while the other is busy with his gameboy. No more fights on the back seats. Of course after each trip, I have to recharge my SE K700i.

I am confirming that I get the "Memory full" error message only when I exceed a total of 80 game+application (jar files).

I do not mind this limitation. 80 is a good enough number, but I wished that the error message would have said "Exceeded your maximum number of allowed games, or application" rather than the missleading "Memory Full". Once again, thank you very much for all your support.
