I love my P900 like a brother. But. And it may be down to my own inability to RTFM (Read the nice manual), i dont know how to or if the alarm can be on and make a noise when the phone is on silent. I have my phone on silent when i go to bed so i dont get woken up by drunken mates and text messages etc. But i want the alarm to wake me up. Im using my Nokia 7250 at the moment 4 the alarm. Its always on silent but the alarm is loud.

HELP ME!

Wanna sell nokia.

I dont think you can but you can put it in flight mode over nights and leave the sounds on so your phone wouldnt be able to recive calls or SMS but the alarm would work

And as an added point, although you won't hear the alarm on silent mode, the phone will still vibrate!!!! Flight mode idea is very good though!!!

Yeah I was used to Nokia and when I got my P800 it bugged me that I couldn't turn it off and have the alarm switch it on. but once you figure out flight mode it is almost as good.

BTW I have been on several flights where they tell you to switch off all mobile devices including those with flight mode!

Generally u have to turn all devices during landing but if they say u to turn it off during flight just take off the flip next time and say is a PDA
