Hi,
I have a T-mobile K700i. If I want to upgrade to the latest firmware AND unlock my phone, which one should I do first? Can I still upgrade an unlocked phone with decustomising it?

No you can not use DSS20/25... you need Service cable...

NO... to use official SE Update Service you need DSS20/25 and go to
http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice/K700/frameset.htm and do the update if you can...
If you want to debrand/repair, change language, unlock or do firmware update with unofficial solutions you need Service Cable...

I am using SERU at the moment as was not satisfied with some issues on TMS.
BUT THE ONLY THING I WOULD REALLY RECOMMEND IS:
GO TO OFFICIAL SE SERVICE CENTER!
