Hi..been a while since I've been on here- basically I dumped my p800 as I found the call qality ( and signal strength) just wasn't good enough compared to a simple phone ( was using the T610 as a comparrison at the time) Now I also have a faulty T630, and I'm due an upgrade... I use my mobile phone(s) for business, - I can't aford to miss a call if the phone lets me down... does anyone have any views on the qulaity of the p910??? has anyone compared it to something like a s7001 or T630?

Thanks

Wayno

It depends mostly on the operator imo and dont forget, that se has real time aerials, they are pretty sensitive and thatswhy is the indicator usually "in move". This message was posted from a T68i

Does anyone have any experience of p910 with T Mob ( UK ) ??? especially wonder how it compares with a T630 for call quality, and holding onto a call..

Dunno about T-mobile, but the sensitivity in 'difficult'
signal conditions seems only average (as checked on
Vodafone at home, which is patchy for me).

After all, the handset only has an internal antenna.
These are generally a few dB less sensitive than external
ones.

I wonder if there is an engineering screen that shows
RSSI's etc - anyone found one?

So far, I've found the P910's aerial / RF performance to be better than my P900. I can only speak for Vodafone, around the Cambridge area, not T-mobile though.

What do you mean by "real time aerials"?
