Using wireless internet is almost a must for me due to the type of work i do, ive always used a vodafone 3G card but this is mighty expensive when downloading email attachments, im going to use my p800 as a modem now as i get 200 free wap minutes a month what cable do i need to buy in order for this to work i assume its not the standard dock??

dont know for sure about p800 but for p900 you just use the standard dock. use phone monitor to set up the phone as a modem and to create a network profile. then just switch you phone to modem mode and your away!

yer i did have a play around with what u surgeested but i wasnt sure if i needed a differant cable but know i will have a proper play around and see what i can do many thanks for ya help mate.

one thing i got stuck on for a while is that you have to manually dissable the com port in the sync software before you enable it in phone monitor and vice-verca. bit of a pain in the arse really...

oooo i see that was a problem that happened, a pop up telling me about disabling the com port came up but i ignored it lol
