> Problem using isync with P900 and ical
Bookmark topic
Please help. I've been through the search on Esato and have a bit more knowledge of my problem but no solution. I've checked the Apple support website and Sony's support. I even spent hours on the phone to Applecare on Friday and Saturday.
I have set up my p900 via bluetooth on my new iBook. It has paired succesfully (although I can't work out how to stop my phone from asking me to accept/ reject my computers attempt to connect-any thoughts??).
Address book syncronises like a dream (as does the ipod) but i cannot get iCal to synchronise. It attempts to connect, I press accept on the phone and hey presto it site there for 5 minutes doing nothing before telling me it was unsuccessful.
I read on Apples site that it can be solved sometimes by opening Calender on the phone and 'quitting' which creates a database file that iSync needs to sync with. I cant find how to close calender down any other way than pressing the jog dial backwardss.
SE have been less than helpful and refused point blank to discuss the matter with me. 'It is an apple support issue'.
Apple, bless them, have tried all they know and cannot resolve it for me other than to ask me to buy another bluetooth dongle (mine is a new MacAlly one but they state they only support the D Link DB-120).
Does anybody have ANY idea how to do this?
I have the latest updates from Apple and the latest firmware from Sony installed (i'm told that may be one of my problems)
