> Bangalore - best store in town?
Bookmark topic
I'm relatively new to Bangalore, and was wondering which are the best stores in town to buy phones from, officially or gray-market.
Which ones have the best prices? Which ones have the best service and after sales support?
If you bought your phone(/s) in Bangalore, which store did you get it from and what was your experience?

hi,
as far as the stores go, u get similar service from all places. because the guarantee/insurance is provided by the handset manufacturer. so it's pretty much the same when it comes to buying phones with a bill. the only difference between legit dealers is the price. if u enquire and bargain u might be able to get a phone with bill for cheaper. usually big chains like sangeethas and vivek's and global access charge more than the others.
one place where i have found some good deals are at mahaveer electrotel in bashyam circle. kooki can back me up on this.
as far as grey market goes, national market is the best.

Looks like its gonna be Mahaveer for me. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll find out what the big stores are charging and make sure he gives it to me for less.
Do you know if Mahaveer takes Visa?

yeah... he takes credit cards.
but they usually charge about 2%extra for credit card transactions. if u are using an icici bank card... u can get 5% cash back...or if u have an hdfc card.. and make a billing of more than 16k... u get a holiday!!
DISCLAIMER: i do NOT work for any credit card co.
EDIT: its 16k and not 14k.

Yeah I'm pretty much set on the Razr. It just got into Bangalore last week, so I'm hoping in another week most of the stores should have it. I'll probably buy it on the 21st or 22nd. Maybe the price will also dip a bit by then.
I had a chance to play with one on Sunday - at Sangeetha at Forum - and it feels like a very well thought out phone, although the features are only ordinary. But it's unbelievably thin!
