> I need some help with P900 as modem
Bookmark topic
I've tried

with no luck
The problem is that i cant connect my P900 to my PC as a modem, ive tried everything, tried to uncheck the COM 6 (the one i use for USB connection and works for everything else) in the "Phone Connection Link" and check it the the "Phone Monitor" as it says when i open the "

Dial-up Networking wizard", also i have selected the modem option in the control panel in the P900 but the wizard keeps telling me that there isnt a phone connected.
I want to connect using my gprs data account (as i used to do in my T610) and no dial any number.
Any help would be very apreciated

Have you guys go into P900 control panel, under connections, cable, chose Modem instead of PC connect?

I've had the same problem. This is for the bluetooth modem.
But make this for sure that you don't have the same com-port checked in Phone Connection Link as you have the modem installed.
Second, in Phone monitor, check com-port where modem is installed.
After this you should find your modem in dial up networking wizard and the problem is solved...hopefully...
It took me days and many hard words before I got it to work properly...

try this:
Disable the com port the cable is intalled in on both the phone connection link and the phone monitor options.
Go into your modems control panel, add the modem (don't detect it

) and add the serial driver. Select the "all ports" reference and you should be able to choose the com port the cable is on.
Once done, go back, enable it in Phone Monitor Options and make sure phone is switched to modem.. and continue on from there
Hopefully that'll work.

Yes, that was my thought before too, don't give up!
It will work some day and it's really nice when it's working!
