Hi
Some of you already know me, I don't easily shut up when I think I'm right!
A few days ago I sent a mail to Epocware complaining HD 2004 KeyMapper did not work with the SE P910.
Well, they answered me just now.
There's a new version, where this problem is fixed.
I hope this proves to non believers that if people want better software, instead of complaining in this forum, SEND THE DEVELOPER A MAIL!
It's wrong to assume developers keep track of their bugs by reading the posts in these forums.
PS: I didn't try the new version yet, so I can't confirm the bug is fixed.

Hello Laurentino Martins,
We updated Handy Day 2004 and now it should work correctly with a
P910.
Here you can download the new version:
http://www.epocware.com/beta/HandyDay2004_SE.zip
To use the full screen mode for Pictures application you need to
disable the Tray icon.

Thanks for tip
Just installed this V1.1 over V1.0 & the KeyMapping now works! on the P910i. Still need to hide tray icon for full screen view in Pictures App. This together with MagicLauncher is now my prefered choice. HD2005 removed from my P910i for now.
Some KeyMapping issues between HD2004 & MagicLauncher but nothing major (can work around). If you use HD2004 keymapping Internet Button to establish the launching of HD2004 and the view changes in HD2004 but then also set MagicLauncher to control the Internet HOLD option it overrides the HD2004 assignment.
I would recommend HD2004 over HD2005 for P910i owners now that it works correctly.

Yeah but with respect, I'm sure they were aware of and working on any new release bugs well before you sent you mail into them.
I know I'll just e-mail NASA and let them know that the shuttles have to be heat proof on the bottom....

Better still email my old next door Neighbour Dr David Green he designed the tiles, actually he designed the ones that always used to fall off

he got the piss taken out of him every time they got a mention on TV
Haven't heard of him since he emigrated to the States always wondered if he still gets ripped about it

@frontman
No they didn't.
In the first letter they answered they knew the problem but were not working on it.
In my letter I stressed out that everydoby in the web knew about the bug and was talking about it, so when did they plan to release a bug fix?
I'm pretty sure they don't read Esato forums...

@Laurentino,
Thank you! Now full screen works with HD2004, but still it doesn't work with KeyMapper. I actually don't use HD, only KeyMapper, so I have a question for you, Laurentino:
Could you also ask Epocware to release a new version of KeyMapper, which don't have issues with P910's full screen mode?
I hope this is not too much for you, but since they have already fullfilled your wish, I just thought it would be good, if you can email them once again...

And I'm not talking about the keymapping functions of HD2004, but a separate app called KeyMapper (by Epocware)!

Then if you're telling me that you are 100% responsible for bringing to their attention a major bug in their software that says to me A) you should have been rewarded for such valuable support, B) clearly their products arent good enough to be on public sale if they are full of bugs which the developers are completely ignorant to or C) theres a wind up somewhere involved here. Or lets call it good PR.
