Online update !

Quote:For CDA162005/2, the latest organiser version is R3A04. Now you need to compare this version number with the one in your phone.

Click here for instructions on how to find the phone software version.

If you have the latest version there is no need to perform an update, unless you are experiencing a problem with your phone. If so, you should always perform an update, even if you have the latest version.

So any idea how long those of us with operator specific firmware have to wait? I have CDA162006/15 (O2 UK).

@dave1000, this is a question that comes up with every firmware release but since the operators don't give out that information and its never a fixed period of time from the general firmware release that all you can do is play the waiting game.

It may even be that some operators don't even release a branded firmware with every unbranded one

Upgrade went OK, but I had trouble restoring. Program said "Device busy, try again later", but I could sync and browse the phone, and suddenly I was able to restore the phone.

Escaped ghosts from Halloween maybe?
