> HELP - K700's Master Reset is not Master!

I have a strange problem with my retail K700 after using SE's Software Upgrade Service (upgraded to R2L001) recently. After a Bluetooth operation, everything in the main picture folder disappeared including the camera_semc folder, except the SE logo! But when I entered the Camera and select View All Pics, I could still see the pictures in the camera_semc folder. I then did a master reset. Several original pictures came out in the main picture folder, but the camera_semc folder was still missing! I switched to the Camera and selected View All Pics, the pictures I took before the master reset were still there - the master reset didn't erase those pictures!!! When I tried to create a folder called camera_semc, it told me a folder with the same name already existed. One other folder, which I used to put all the pictures for contacts, was also missing and now shares the same odd problem with the camera_semc folder... And, these missing folders can't be viewed using SE File Manager or FMA, even the phone did not count their contents towards the storage status!
Reflashing using Software Update service (neither Update nor Recovery mode) didn't work either! This has driven me mad. Anyone got an idea? Many many thanks!!!

welcome... try this...
- Master reset
- Reset all
immediately when the phone turns off after few seconds take the battery out and leave it like that for 30 seconds.
- Turn the phone back on

ah well, probably just a stupid answer.
why not do the 13 sec trick - master reset - 13 seconds, take out battery. wait a minute - restart phone with battery in!

because you don't take the battery out when the phone already started to boot... so we can call this two resets Master reset LIGHT and Master reset HARD so use any of those dependable of how stuborn is your phone

damn i forgot that trick.... i never did that one because some said you will get a very unstable phone....
trick for you is, do 13 second trick...... then after you power up the phone..... do a second master reset......
btw..... the 13 sec trick worked on t series.... no guaranteees that it will work on k series (will it?)
