Hi!
I hope that somebody can answer my question...
I wonder what happens when you upgrade the firmware in your phone, with the installed applications on the memorycard...will they appear like before, in the categories that you have put them in, like for example: games, programs, internet etc. and about the registration of the programs, will upgrading not affect that? I mean, if you bought a license for a program installed on the memorycard, will it still be registered after upgrading the phones firmware?
And about all the contacts, how do you do to make a backup of them, and put them back onto the phone after upgrading the phone? I see in QuickContact, that you can make a backup and store it on the memorycard, and restore them from this file...this really works?

Hope somebody knows all this!

Thanks!

do a backup first, then you upgrade the firmware in your phone. then do a restore. tada! the purchased software is regitered to your imei number, which is unaffected by firmware. This message was posted from a P900
